Introduction

Welcome to HireXAI. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HireXAI, you agree to:

• Be bound by these Terms of Service.
• Comply with our Privacy Policy.
• Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Provide accurate and complete information about yourself.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secure and not share your login with anyone else.
• Tell us straight away if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
• Take responsibility for activity that takes place under your account.

3. Platform Usage

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or break any law or regulation while using it.
• Infringe anyone else's rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate anyone.
• Interfere with the platform's operation, or try to access systems or accounts you are not authorised to access.
• Harass, abuse or harm other users.
• Record, copy or redistribute a session or its transcript outside HireXAI without the consent of everyone in it.
• Arrange payment for a session outside the platform in order to avoid our fee.

4. Interviewer Terms

If your application to interview on HireXAI is approved, you agree to:

• Represent your experience, employer and expertise accurately.
• Attend the sessions you accept, on time, and keep your availability up to date so candidates are not booking slots you cannot honour.
• Give honest, specific and constructive feedback, and submit your evaluation after each session.
• Keep what a candidate tells you in a session confidential.
• Treat every candidate fairly, and never discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic.
• Only post referral openings that are real and at a company you are genuinely connected to.
• Set your own session prices, and accept that our platform fee is added on top of the rate you set.
• Provide accurate payout details, and keep them current.

You are an independent provider using the platform, not an employee of HireXAI, and you are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.

5. Company Terms

If you use HireXAI as a company, you agree to:

• Post accurate job descriptions and requirements for roles that genuinely exist.
• Confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of the company you register.
• Treat candidates fairly, and never discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic.
• Protect any candidate information you receive, and use it only to assess that candidate for the role.
• Remove or close a posting once the role is no longer open.

6. Candidate Terms

As a candidate on HireXAI, you agree to:

• Describe your skills, education and experience accurately, and not misrepresent them in your profile or in a referral application.
• Attend sessions you book at the scheduled time. If neither participant joins within 10 minutes of the start time, the session is marked as a no-show.
• Cancel through the platform if you cannot attend. Cancellation windows and what is refundable are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Accept that sessions may be recorded and transcribed, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Behave professionally towards interviewers and mentors.

Repeatedly failing to attend booked sessions may result in restrictions on your account.

7. Payments and Fees

• Interviewers set their own prices. HireXAI does not set a rate card for sessions.
• Our platform fee is added on top of that price and is already included in the total shown to you. Nothing further is added at checkout.
• The price is fixed at the moment you book. If the interviewer changes their rate afterwards, it does not affect a session you have already confirmed.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
• Interviewer payouts are made to the payout details on your account on a weekly cycle, for sessions that have been completed.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We may change our platform fee, and will give notice on this site before a change takes effect.

8. Intellectual Property

• HireXAI owns the platform — its software, design, branding and content — and nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.
• You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as your profile, your résumé and anything you write on the platform.
• You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, store and display that content for the purpose of operating the platform and providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are required to retain records.
• You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the platform or its content, or use our branding, without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

• The platform is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee any employment outcome. A mock interview, a guidance session or a referral is preparation and introduction — it is not an offer of a job or a promise of one.
• Interviewers and mentors are independent users of the platform. We verify their applications, but we are not responsible for the opinions or advice they give in a session.
• We are not responsible for content submitted by users.
• We do not guarantee that the platform will be available without interruption.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireXAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, and we will tell you why.
• Closing an account does not cancel a session that has already been booked — cancel it first, or contact us.
• Money already owed — an unpaid session, or a payout due to an interviewer — remains payable after an account closes.
• Sections 8 to 10 continue to apply after your account is closed.

12. Governing Law

These formal terms are governed entirely by the laws of India. All civil disputes shall be resolved safely and securely within the local courts of New Delhi formally.
